The winners of the 2022 edition Epson International Pano Award were announced, and the big winner of the 2022 open competition was Jinyi He from China with three entries, The vein, purple world and rainbow canyon.
“I am deeply honored to receive the 2022 Epson Pano Award as Open Photographer of the Year. It is very special for me to be recognized for works shot in my hometown of Xinjiang, China,” said Jinyi.
“As a landscape photographer, I have always been passionate about exploring the majestic Chinese landscapes rarely experienced by Western photographers. I am dedicated to capturing their precious yet hidden beauty. I believe that the most powerful photos come from the heart rather than the Brain Heartfelt feelings on the road always brings me different inspirations, perspectives and appreciations of our planet.
The Epson International Pano Awards showcase the work of panoramic photographers from around the world and are the world’s largest panoramic photography competition. This year, the competition received 4,129 entries from 1,197 professional and amateur photographers from 98 countries.
The awards were founded in 2009 by Australian landscape photographer David Evans (AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year 2015) with support from Epson Australia, and have since grown into a collaboration between dedicated professional photographers, industry professionals and sponsors.
