Soaky Mountain Waterpark, Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland Team Up For Sevierville Light Show

SEVIERVILLE, TN (WATER) — While the summer is over and holidays are a priority for most, visitors to a water park in Sevierville will soon be able to enjoy the twinkling scenes of Christmas lights and more from November. Soaky Mountain Water Park presents Shadrack’s “Super-Sized Christmas Adventure” in Sevierville after Thanksgiving Day.

The drive-in “storybook” featuring large illustrated artwork with lights and sound kicks off on Friday, November 25 and will run until Sunday, January 1, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Soaky Mountain water park. The maze of lights is synchronized with the music played in visitors’ vehicles as they pass through the screen.

“We are excited to bring our Super-Sized Christmas Adventure to the Sevierville area,” Shadrack’s spokesperson Josh Hawk said in a press release. “Families who come for this amazing experience will find themselves immersed in a fun vacation story. When your car enters the exhibition area, Santa’s shrinking ray will accidentally hit it instead of the gifts it was aiming for, and your family will be immersed in a world of oversized toys, animals and imagination. Your challenge will be to find a way to “push back” or you’ll get lost forever in our tiny garland chaos.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland has over a decade of history in the East Tennessee region among the top choices for visitors who want to experience the lights and sounds of Christmas with its immersive drive-in experiences. They also mark the last year they will be at Smoke stage at Kodak.

“This year will end our Christmas Wonderland show at Smokies Stadium, but we’re proud to present the Christmas Adventure at Soaky Mountain Water Park,” Shadrack says on his website. “Our Christmas Wonderland drive-in light show has been a favorite for 13 years and will go off in style, so don’t miss your last chance to see the famous light show in person! Our new Christmas adventure is something we never miss! have never done, or even seen before. We can’t wait to share it with you!”

Now they’re teaming up with Soaky Mountain to provide more experiences for families to enjoy this holiday season.

Not only will there be lights and a fun holiday story, but Santa is also expected to be at the “Super-Sized Christmas Adventure.” Families can see Santa on November 26, December 2, 3, 9, 10, 4, 17, 21, 22 and 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
