A winter storm swept through the Denver metro area on Wednesday, leaving several inches of fresh snow behind.
COLORADO, United States – A mid-February snowstorm that arrived in Colorado on Wednesday afternoon leaves behind impressive snow totals on the Front Range.
Most places around the Denver metro area saw about 2-4 inches of snow from our last storm. Snow is expected to continue to fall throughout Wednesday evening, eventually easing by Thursday morning.
Here are the totals in the Denver metro area so far, according to the National Weather Service:
- Aurora: 5.1 inches
- Genessee: 8.8 inches
- Castle pins: 1.7 inches
- Arvada: 5.2 inches
- Evergreen: 4.4 inches
- Louisville: 4.1 inches
- Morrison: 5 inches
- Longmont: 1.8 inches
- Fort Collins: 2 inches
- Westminster: 4.4 inches
- Thorton: 3.6 inches
- Denver (south-southeast): 3.1 inches
- Denver (east): 3.1 inches
- Country of love: 2 inches
- Netherlands: 5 inches
- Greeley: 2.6 inches
- Rock: 3.3 inches
- Englewood: 4.5 inches
- Evergreen: 4.5 inches
- Broom field: 4 inches
- Denver (north-northwest): 2.3 inches
- Estes Park: 5 inches

We will remain cool on Thursday but under a sunnier sky. Sunny and more seasonal for Friday and weekends with highs in the 50s.
