If the same old Christmas tree lights aren’t quite the same, or if the busy city life wears you down, we suggest you take a few weekend road trips in pursuit of that joy of holidays.

Here are some Christmas-themed attractions to check out!

1. Baguio Country Club Christmas Village

Let’s start with a favorite family attraction, the Baguio Country Club Christmas Village. With the Oriental Winter Wonderland theme, it remains a top holiday destination with its wall of wishes, artificial snow, cosplay street performances, nativity scene, live musical performances, photo shoots with Santa Claus and its vast outdoor space.

Admission starts at P30 for children aged 4-12. The most expensive ticket is P125 for adults, if visiting at 5pm. at 10 p.m.

2. Night of Lights Christmas Village, Pampanga

Night of Lights Christmas Village in San Fernando, Pampanga looks like a fun time for the whole family.

Located at The Orchid Gardens Resort, the Christmas Village features Christmas lights throughout, as well as artificial snow and Instagram-worthy areas.

Children will be able to see Santa Claus and his elves, Disney Princesses like Elsa, Anna, Belle and Cinderella, Mickey and Minnie, characters from “Spongebob Squarepants”, “Peppa Pig”, and more! There are also stilt performers and jugglers.

The entrance fee is 50 pesos per person.

3. Casa Santa Museum, Antipolo

The Casa Santa Museum, located inside the Miramar Garden in Antipolo, is the best Santa Claus-themed museum in the Philippines. We mean: it has over 3,000 Christmas and Santa items from around the world.

There is a toy factory where children can see the elves creating toys for Christmas. There are also arts and crafts activities with ceramics and canvas, different Pinoy games and Christmas activities, and a gift shop.

Additionally, the museum also houses the Balay Belen, which is a collection of nativity scenes.

Tour prices are priced from P250 to P325. Reservation details are available on the museum’s Facebook page and official website.

4. Fountain of Lights, Nuvali

To the south, Nuvali in Sta. Rosa, Laguna teased a show called the Fountain of Lights.

Appearing to stand at the local lake, the teaser video showed colorful water splashes that take the form of Christmas lanterns and rainbows. Shows like these certainly make for fun times to bond family.

We are curious to know how it goes!

5. Salo Salo Fest, Enchanted Kingdom, Laguna

Salo-Salo Festival, a three-day music festival from December 2-4, takes place at Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rose, Lagoon. It is the first music festival in the country to be held at the theme park.

The incredible lineup includes OPM legends such as Ely Buendia, Rico Blanco, Barbie Almalbis, Ebe Dancel, Parokya ni Edgar, Urbandub, Moonstar88 and Mayonnaise.
