Race course details

“The USO22 downhill track will be fast and fun to ride,” said Clay Harper, Fox US Open of Mountain Biking co-founder and event director. “This track contains multiple line pick options at almost every point, top to bottom. We have worked with Killington to update an existing race track called ‘Goat Skull’ which was built for the 2016/17 Pro GRT National Downhill events. The track has undergone a complete overhaul with multiple updates and new features added – including two distinct jump sections in the lower half of the track. Athlete feedback throughout the course has been excellent and we are expecting times in the 3 minute range across the course.

The all-new Killington Dual Slalom course is designed to be accessible to intermediate slalom racers with a mix of berms, rollers and a few flat grass turns, while staying true to its shape for professional head-to-head racing.

The Enduro will feature 4-5 stages of racing across four of Killington’s peaks. Riders can expect classic northeast terrain with lots of rocks and roots.

Big air competition and historic crowd favorite, Red Bull Best Whip, presented by YT Industries, is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever with an all new massive set of jumps built by Powder Horn Trail Company. A stone’s throw from the Fat Tire Bar, the extra-high springboard will offer a 360-degree view of athletes exploding above the horizon on Saturday night.

The whole process was a collaborative effort between Killington and Powder Horn Trail Company. We are excited for everyone to see the finished product which will showcase the talent and experience of the crew, while giving top local racers a chance to pitch in. and make a name for yourself alongside some of the best in the sport.” – Taylor Zink, Killington Terrain Manager
