ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

~ 75-1. Consumption or possession on public property.

It shall be unlawful within the Town of Somers for any person to consume intoxicating liquors, beer or wine or to possess such substance in an open container in or on any town-owned building, property, public park or recreation area, excluding, however, any town or state road or highway, except where otherwise permitted by law or in such instances or occasions in which the Somers Board of Selectmen has issued a permit for such possession or consumption.

~ 75-2. Penalties for offenses.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than twenty-five dollars ($25.).
